I created a pair of free standing panels using both translucent and opaque glass. The panels are intended to be free standing and I have started to mount them on to slate. This gives the panels a feeling of being grounded as well a providing a practical strong base. The slate pieces are off cuts from Honister slate mine in the lake district and feel to be consistent with my liking for recycling.
The glass panel is 39cm high x 15cm wide
The base is 4 cm high 25cm wide and 8cm deep.
